Every release I login and wait expecting a change, so guess its time to chime in...

It rains WAYYY too much in this game! Especially in the Desert biomes!? I own a POT nested in Dosolis, it rains more often the not. Besides the lag it causes, its a huge eye sore, please please please for the love of all things holy reduce the rain! Or at least let US control rain in our pots maybe, or an option to turn off rain fx? Something, Please!! Talk about immersion breaking when its constantly raining in the desert and causing lag. This Grunvold desert.. you should update the map to resemble the rain amount to a rain forest/jungle paradise or tone it down by at least half.

    Drowning in the desert,

Agreed raining in the desert should be sorted out. Sandstorms would be far more appropriate.

Beside the fact that i agree about different weather for different biomes i would first like to point out:
The last two days i didn't play a single hour without rain.
Seems to be a bug. That or the Flood is coming ^^

    Now, weather for biomes:
    - Desert, a sandstorm would be nice. Maybe in differing intensity
    - Snow, snow...the obvious ^^ and snowstorms
    - Jungle, i guess a lot of rain is ok there, depending on the time of year. And fog. Gimme fog ^^

They want to see whether you're really REALLY committed after you've downed that 2 liter of Coke.

If rain actually had some impact on agriculture (acts as a free watering session), then it might be useful.
As it is now, I need to go out into the rain with 100 buckets of water in order to water my plants... in the rain.
    Umm.... that doesn't sound right.

Well, Britannia was always roughly based on England.

It always rains in England. ;)

Come to Spite. It has never rained in Spite. If my roof leaks I wouldn't know about it. There used to be a really nice mist covered the dock areas sometimes. Even that has not been seen for many months. It is always heavy cloud, even when the sun and moon shines ?!?

The rain doesn't bother me. The rain pouring through my 'brand new' crafted pavilion irritates me though.

I had no idea this was a thing, thanks for the contribution but an item is not going to solve the issue at hand here. I'm pretty certain the weather systems needs a revisit, I hope they did not intend for it to be constantly raining in the desert.

Completely agree, long-standing annoyance for me as well.
Desert or not, the rain doesn't add anything to the game except lag.
Unless weather is made to have a significance (ie watering plants), I'd really like an option to disable effects in the video settings entirely.

Bondo, I'll remember that next time.

Jokes aside it's kind of depressing crafting in the rain. Crafting is my way of relaxing.
    Hope they fix it soon.

Even in England, it doesn't rain that much. ;)

Seriously, the amount of rain should have reduced these desert areas to feted swamps by now! OK sand and snow storms would be nice, but just reducing the probability of rain would be a start.
