I keep getting them. I did notice that it says address not validated.
How do I go about getting validated?

Go here, hit update profile at the bottom and then confirm.

It shows my correct address but still keeps saying I need to validate. Maybe I don't really live here.

Does more than one address appear at the top? I had 2, same address but 2 different formats. I had to confirm one of them before the "needs validation" alert went away.

Hi all! In Profile Settings, after you click Update Profile, you will see:

"Your address has been validated and shipments will be sent to the below address."

    OR

"Your address has been confirmed and shipments will be sent to the below address."

That means we will ship to the address on your Profile Settings page (if physical rewards are part of your pledge).

If you see either of these two messages, but see on your User Account page (the page that lists all the stuff on your account) text in a red box that indicates you still need to update your address, then please email support@portalarium.com and we'll see what the issue is.

    Still buggy.

I put in my address, it validated it and presented two options (both same address but second one is uppercase) for me to pick. Both options have my apartment number. I pick first option. It confirms it and then stores an address that has my apartment number striped off. The second option retains my apartment number.

So, FYI, anyone living in an apartment, check to see that it actually has your apartment number saved.

I have the red box but also have an address entered. So I assume you use that for shipping. @Serafina

Validate address, comes back with what I had, plus a better Zip+4 address, select that one... And on my profile page still has just the Zip, not the Zip+4. Slight buggy there.

I changed my address twice but apparently if I buy anything using Paypal through the store it changes the new address back to the old one. This sounds ridiculous but it is true and doesn't give me much confidence in the system.

Can we have a check box „I dont want any of the physical goods.“?
I have several Pledges and want them only from the higher Pledges.

The answer that Portalarium gave to me about this problem is:
We are aware of this issue and are working on a fix as quickly as possible.

Adding a check box is extra work for the devs. I think it would make more sense just to not enter a shipping address for the accounts that you don't want to receive physical rewards.

Yeah, it is buggy and unintuitive. You fill in your adress, then click the update button *at the bottom* of the page, and then it sais " updated" exept that now more options appear at the *top* of the page, where you still have to confirm an adress. Here is the buggy part: apparently it does not accept the European notation of an adress, where you put the house number *behind* the street you live in, instead of before it. So if you filled in "View Road 11" it will not confirm your adress but instead offers you two options: oddly enough, both options read "View Road 11" but if you choose the "correct" option, you will now get a confirmation, and your adress will be noted down as.........."11 View Road" .

So there is no way to confirm an option where your adress ends up both confirmed *and* with correct (european) notation (number behind the road).

Updating still moves the number of the house in front of the street name - even though both proposed addresses were properly displaying "Street" + "Number".

Had no issues. It did want a correction, seemed to be based on what the PO uses as my address rather then the whole thing spelled out. Not a real issue for me though.

@Serafina - Some of us have multiple accounts that are to receive physical rewards. Are you guys planning to search for common addresses among the accounts... and package them together for one shipment?

I would think that would save Portalarium some shipping costs if you bundled them together and I personally would prefer to only have to open one box to find all my goodies at once. :D

You should probably email to support@portalarium.com and provide them the info on your accounts, and ask them to combine your shipment. It's a good idea, especially for international shippers.
