How to apply the pattern to a Commission Free Vendor?

I can not seem to apply the new pattern to my Commission-Free Vendor (which is my own reward and not a purchase).

Per R51 Instructions:

• [New] Player Vendor Customization Patterns: These patterns can modify the appearance of Player Vendors. They can be found in a variety of places, including in-game Merchants and the Add-On Store. These patterns can be applied at an Alchemy table.

I cleared out my vendor inventory. Picked him up. Went to my alchemy station. I added the vendor and the Pattern: Blue Male Merchant. But, I do not get the option to apply it. The Craft button stays grey. What am I doing wrong?

@Lexie I have a better question: How do you get your eternal pattern back out of a commission free vendor if you want to change patterns.... Surely we don't salvage our commission free vendors...?

 

Just put the new pattern you want on it the same way as before. As long as the one you used first is a eternal pattern you will get it back when you apply the new one.

 

Pattern + vendor + 5 mandrake.

 

Yea so how come my blue and red male vendor patterns look the same? Anyone else having this issue and I am not sure if anyone is having issue with vendors being invisible til pattern was applied

 

Mine both look the same too. But that's because they're both currently invisible.

 

So I must remove all my inventory Add a Pattern and add then add back every thing one by one to make my Vendor Visible again???
Oh well Such is life........

Ornate Steel Cash Register Eternal Pattern: This is an eternal pattern that comes with bundles. Note that pledges that came with vendors will also receive one of these patterns.

I never received one ... My Account came with a vendor, so I should have gotten one, unless it isn't in yet ...

 

try claiming again... I got mine when I claimed rewards from the banker...
