whats the point of having a specialisation to 120? ;p
i had my fire mastery higher in test and it only give me attune cause of the attune gained from the mastery, nothing changed in damage overall

All the individual skill bonuses scale with Specialization level.

Nope works for all of them. Very few skills get additional damage as part of the specialization bonus, but all of the bonuses I know of should scale with Specialization level

Its not affecting any magic skill (unless u talking about that bonus u get at 80 specialisation). So i guess only physical damage skill get buffed with specialisation bonus then

Yes, a lot of the bonuses are things like added duration to debuffs and such.

Thanks for all the kind words yall! I tried to talk myself out of cramming it in before live because I knew I was signing up for a crap ton of work since I was already supposed to be full time on performance but glad I got it all done well enough to make a positive first impression! More polish and features will come in over time.

Also, @devilcult, I think the one thing I left out of the Specialization skill description is that it will ONLY give a bonus if it is one of the two specialization skills set to Train or Maintain. I'll try to fix that now. If it is set to unlearn it doesn't apply any bonuses.

Yes, that is all that it scales. The bonuses from the Specialization itself. Thats they way it is for all of the trees. It only effects the Specialization bonuses, nothing else.
By this I assume you mean the base skills? Bludgeon Combat, Polarms Combat, etc? No, it does not scale those. Only the bonuses from spec'ing

I think Barugon confused me saying it increase all individual skill. Its only the specialisation effect that get buffed, like healing modifier for fire or minus resistance, not damage directly. Thats why i asked why get a specialisation to 120 (which cost 163 million exp) for such a weak bonus ;p id use that 140m extra exp to get stronger overall instead but hey! thats only me ;p

Did the lowered decay cost for specialized trees make it in?

The beautiful thing is its a choice! Get better at one or two things, or spread out to other things.

You also get the extra 6th glyph for active skills in a spec'ed tree, as well as the extra attunement for magic trees (which does scale beyond 80). Also, you get your death decay reduced by 75% for all skills in a tree that has been spec'ed, so raising them higher will mean less of a slap if you die.

Damage is important, but its not everything

Specifically for fire you would get the extra benefits:
Flame fist + Fire arrow = heal debuff, effected by mastery, higher the mastery skill is then the higher the debuff.
    Ignite weapon = increased duration
Fireball - higher chance to trigger second explosion with higher mastery
Immolation - higher mastery is longer duration
Ring of Fire - higher mastery is higher DR debuff.

No, it's looking like right now, the ranged specializations aren't going to add a lot. Chris has mentioned doing some more adjustments to it soon. I'll probably just choose one for now (probably light armor) and hold out on the second until I see what changes get made.

You could always do tactics. You wouldn't be getting any use out of the extra glyphs, but specialized berzerker stance is a lot of extra damage.

Maybe. Other choice is death. I've been a necro-archer in pretty much every game where such a thing was possible, but haven't pursued it much here due to the underwhelmingness of raising the dead in SotA. Plus, not actually raising the dead, but summoning them, lacks the same charm. Though, I do like getting to rename them, so I can go into battle with great- great- great-grandpa Cuz'abich. Too bad he doesn't last very long or do very much. They're pretty much boney non-combat pets.
