Did I Encounter a Rust Monster?

    When I logged out a few days ago, my equipment was in good shape. The next time I logged in a few days later, one of my rings was broken and I never left the Outlander Welcome Center. Today I logged in and my weapon is now broken with 0 durability, just like the ring. And I never moved from my home!

    Is this an effect of that cursed rock coming ever closer? Did I encounter a Rust Monster and not realize it? Or is it just a boring old bug? Anyone else notice anything funny with their equipment?

    Edit - Sigh, just a bug. Oh well. Thank you to @Fister Magee for pointing out the bug!

    My god you'd think they'd at least give you a chance to fight em off with a club / leather armour.

    Ouch. I just repaired and this bug hurts! Hopefully they fix this asap.

    I made 2 pieces of bronze plate last night before I logged off for bed. I log in today and both brand new pieces lost 5 durability.

    ok thats what happened to me when I crashed 7 times trying to enter Owl's head... each time I logged in I was hit and I thought I had some long term curse !
