THE PREVIEW HAS ENDED, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR BUGS AND FEEDBACK!

    Hello everyone,
We have been working hard to integrate the new sotacoa.com Heraldry Generator into our website. You can view a demo of the generator here:
    https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?page_id=83775

We are asking for the community to play around with this tool and report any bugs you might find and provide constructive feedback. Please respond to this thread with any bugs or feedback you have.

    IMPORTANT:
    * Please respond to this thread with any issues you find.
    * You CANNOT upload or save Heraldry generated by the Demo - this is just for testing purposes, you cannot set your coat of arms yet.

    * The Demo is available to EVERYONE - only certain people have the pledge reward to create a Coat of Arms, just because you can see the demo does not mean you will be able to use it in the future.
    * This is not the only way you will be able to submit Heraldry. If you are unable to create a desirable Coat of Arms with the tool, then you will be able to upload a file as well.

    Thank you!

    Need a way to:
    - adjust the height of an ordinary.
    - add a vertical ordinary.

It's a good start though! Nice selection of charges.

the charge list on the left is really too tiny to see. the mouseover helps, but since there's a delay on that popping up it's still hard to scroll through. i'd rather have a really long list that had the image AND the word, one per row.

The charges can get rather small, suggest setting a minimum width.

Stretch your browser window for now, they resize.

What resolution is your screen when it is too small to see?

Also can you set the zoom level on your browser to be less than 100% as a work around?

Some community members are much more informed when it comes to the components of Heraldry. I have been working on this tool, but am still not completely informed on all the components. What are you referring to when you say "line colours?"
    Good catch, thanks.

    @Rok Yrikk
Let's say that I'm applying my crest to a tabard. Will the division extend to cover the entire garment or will it just cover the square area that bounds the rest of the crest?

    1) there should be a possibility to scale the charges

I tried to do 3 Fleur de lis in the 3 upper chief points but they overlap...

2)invert and contourne does the same to the griyphon rampart but i want it to look to the right

The image that is used to go into the game is a 256x256 pixel texture. As far as I know this is applied on a square area of the in game item. Here is an example of LB's coat of arms.

I'm not sure of the correct terminology but it's the outline of the charge, for example my forum avatar is the charge The College of Arms worked on it uses sanguine not black.

hmm, try reducing the width if they're still too small for you, they'll reduce to a single column but larger icons.
