4. Details: Chris' Blog states - "I think I'm getting close. First, I'm upping the base strength value for tamed critters. Should give about 10-20% more base damage and some HPs. Second, for Taming masters, they get 125 x taming Mastery % for str, 50 x taming mastery for Dex, and 100 x taming mastery for hit points. The result, with 100's in all taming skills [including Combat Training] and 80 in Taming mastery, [Obsidian] bear friend has around 1100 hps and hits for 50 with non crits."

5. Steps to Reproduce: Tame all taming skills to GM but raise Tame Speclalization to 80 or more (mine is at 94 on QA)

Did you try buffing the bear with Strength of Earth? That would probably push it over 1100 HP.

 

No, I did not. I was under the impression that by advancing the skills it would, based on @Chris ‘ comment in his blog.

 

Well, he said 'around' 1100. I would say 1026 is around that, although I know you got more than 80. I'm sure he was guesstimating in his blog and not looking at an Obs Bear HP when he posted that.
I'll need to research this further.
