[Repro needed] Fleet Flute speed effect only works occasionally.

    Details: This may be related to my earlier post (which already has a bug # created for it) here , if so feel free to combine this one with it.
    I'm doing this in a POT (as you can see from the specs). I have no other speed buff's active (no wolf speed, etc.) and playing a song with the Fleet Flute equipped results in it "taking (working)" and increasing speed about 20% of the time - at best.
    I have a piece of sheet music in my non-combat bar and can hit it several times before it "takes". Each time I use it - it goes thru the motions of playing so I know it's recognizing that.
    I have also tested it by "playing" a song via the chat, IE /play song. Exact same results.
    Steps to Reproduce: Equip a Fleet Flute and go try it.

    I am not able to repro. Every time I use it, I'm flying all over the place.

    Do you have any other artifacts that may affect this?

    The only thing I can think of is that you DO have to play it for a few seconds. Instead of watching your avatar, look for the music buff to appear. Then stop playing and run around.
    This goes for all music buffs. You got a get a few notes out (play some of the music) before it will count.
    Could that maybe be it? I tested on QA 654.

    I can play an entire song and not get the buff from the fleet flute, at times. Usually it gives the buff on the first or second note.

    I get this as well, more on QA than live. Unequipping and reequipping the flute seems to fix it.
