[Repro needed] I get randomly teleported from my lot Infront of my lot

Happend a couple of times.
Seems to be connected to having containers open for a couple of minutes.
Will try to get a real repro tomorrow.

Thank you. I am looking for a repro to this myself. There may be some details here that matter such as if the player is in deco mode, if others are on the lot, etc. If pets are involved (I tried that as well!) Or maybe it only happens to non-owner lot residents...

 

happend to me too, but thought i did a key-combo instead of typing into window so i didn't bug it (and my container i was opening needed a relog to be opened again)

- no pet on lot, only commision free vendor which i tried to manage
- deco: can't say for sure because i toggled it before a lot
- no other players on lot (row lot),
- my char was standing near the border of the lot thow
- my char was only co-owner of the lot

 

I'm seeing this too. Seems like I get teleported in front of my house and the house redraws the decorations like it's reloading or maybe I just reloaded. It's happened twice to me while managing my vendor.

 

I saw this occur in a 4 story viking row house while in a container. It happened right after I managed a vendor inside as well.

So, can't do a repro now because it's half past six in the morning and i am on my way to work but I can be more detailed untill I get back to my pc ^^

@Lexie things that might be interesting:
It seems to happen with every kind of container.
It exactly works like I entered the good old /stuck command on my deed except the teleport is instant.
It is my own deed. Its public, it's a guild chapter house and it has people with co owner rights and people with tenant rights. It's the multi story shogun village home. No pets.
The container bugs out after that, I can't use it anymore until I relog to the main menu. If I remember correctly the vendor doesn't bug out. I could go back and just open it again.

Now that three other people had exactly the same issue I doubt it is pc related but non the less here are the main Infos:

Win10
I7 CPU
GTX 1060 gpu (Last Driver Update was yesterday)
Sota is running from a WD blue SSD.

 

This happened to me as well (3 times). I had the crafting table open and two storage containers opened at the same time, along with my inventory open

Mhhh. Seems to be fixed with the last patch.

 

I had this too yesterday even with the last patch...

in fact my whole game is bugged sorry to say

I can't quest because quest NPCs wont talk to me anymore, got kicked out of my house many times having to restart to be able to interact with things again, also often when I leave a town, somehow I'm kicked back in and I have to suffer another loading screen... sometimes many times in a row so sometimes I had to teleport out of a town to get unstuck.

My minimap is completely broken, frozen or showing a completely unrelated locations.

Combat is also broken... sometimes I'm completely invulnerable, then I get hit with all the damage at once. It's not lag I'm steady with a 20 mbps fiber optics connection...

Other times monsters stop fighting mid combat and I can simply bash them until dead. I got stucked in walls, in floors, in doors... had to use the stuck button all the time.

Thats the beginning of my list I don't want to sound too damning... but release broke the game for me, pretty much all I did was stand there and chat with other players who seem now used to the bugs, at least I know I'm not alone

 

@Lexie Just more info to add to your list to help nail this issue down:
I've had it happen while using a crafting table and with an open chest (several times in the last hour)
I am the owner of the lot and the POT its in.
When it happens while in a chest, the chest does get stuck open but a quick trip to my basement and back fixes it.
Its happen with and without other people in the town and or lot

Happend to me like 5 times but at the moment I am not able to reproduce it. Its just not happening to me anymore.

 

Still happening to me infrequently. Most recent cases were when containers were open. The container becomes inaccessible until the scene is reloaded. (Build 757) No specific trigger noted. Containers are not necessarily open for a long time.

 

Yes, this happened to me at least 6 times. I'm a co owner but don't own the lot. And it only happens on that lot (I have 2 others) and only happens with the wizard buffet container.

When I open it, I'm teleported to the front of the lot and then I cant access that container until I log out and back in.

 

I think I found the cause for this, and just deployed a server-side fix. If you continue to see this issue, please let me know.
