    When I meet Krishach and tell him I am ready for him to escort me he got hung up on the stairs. I left him and returned and hoped it would reset the escort but he just made it back to the bottom of the stairs and the escort was still taking place, even though he was unmoving. I logged out and back in again and I can talk to him now and ask for that escort again but after he says, "Get out of my way!" he doesn't move and just stands at the bottom of the stairs.

    And another thing, which isn't so much a bug as an annoyance, is that with these walking escorts like this one and the ones in Valhold etc., the avatar's walk speed isn't fast enough to keep up and the run speed is too fast. I have always thought the avatar's walk speed was too slow, which is why I never walk even though it would be nicer for going up stairs, esp. spiral ones. The av speed should be increased to at least the same speed as NPC's walk.

    Update: Instead of just logging out and back in again I quit the game and restarted. The escort has been reset and Krishach starts walking bu get stuck on the steps at the same spot... on the 5th or sixth step, and after a while goes back to the bottom of the steps and alternates between walking-in-place and standing still.

    This seems like an important part of the courage quest and I am blocked from continuing on. I will try quitting and restarting to see if at some point he makes it up those stairs...

    Update: After a few attempts I got an escort where he got up the stairs but then he promptly got stuck in a doorway... I have lost count of the number of times I have tried this... :mad:

    Edit/ I ran past him and found my way on my own, of course I missed whatever it was he had to say to me along the way. Btw, that quest is flawed in that I never did give that warrant to Ferig, but he had it and used it at the end of the quest.

    @Hermetic
    I am thinking you got these quest flags before there were changes/corrections. Now he tells you that you can just go on up. You didn't miss anything.
    I'm glad you got past it.

    This is what I did as well, ran past him. I also did not give the warrant to Ferig (I wanted to follow this other line w/his other son first). You may want to make the completion of the Ferig warrant quest as a pre-requisite for the Skrekk quest.

    Just now I had the same problem with Krishach. He asked me to escort him and not to get too far away. However, he became stuck on the stairs. I moved a little bit in front of him and he finally became upstuck and continued up the stairs. Then, however, he got stuck in the doorway. I moved through him and got slightly in front of him. While he still remained stuck for some time, he finally got himself free and I was able to finish the quest. So, this is still an ongoing problem. I was afraid to just give up on Krishach, as I feared it would bug this important quest line for me
