Now that you all are selling flying dragons and birds on the shop, do you think it's time to finally fix the edelmann birdbath flying birds? They have been broken for quite some time
reporting as a bug won't go anywhere since this was deliberate action from the devs. however, i brought it up on stream a few weeks ago and suggested enabling them with limits (one per lot? x on town lands?) and chris seemed open to the possibility.

As I recall, at the time ATOS was hunting down performance issues and he found an issue with the birds, so turned them off and continued looking for performance problems. I'm sure there was a plan to eventually circle back to it, but at the time, improving performance had a much higher priority than spending time hunting down the issue with the birds.
Given how much they seem to nullify their performance improvements by cranking up light/deco limits, maybe the bird bath could be relaxed too? /full disclosure - I have one. I wondered what was up with it "not working". gimme my freaking birds
you sure you're sure? it's been years if one of my developers decided to completely remove some functionality because it was "too slow" instead of fixing/optimizing it then i'd be upset, just as i am a little annoyed that this issue has existed for years :/
Maybe just have one bird fly around..occasionally land and take a bath? The whole flock was a bit much when it was working.
Chris optimized it before putting it back in, then tested. Shouldn't be a resource hog this time around.
