Log Writing - Silent Death

    The timer that writes the logs from memory to disk is silently dying, and will not restart until the client is restarted.

    If you are reading the log file, when the client writes to it, I assume it throws a "file open by another process" error, and it is halting the log writing timer/service/whatever it happens to be.
