Oh very awesome thanks for sharing. I love it. I have not yet done mine all though I did try out the creator when there was a feedback thread on it. Also to any who do not yet have the ability to do this, I'm sure it is coming soon. It can be an important aspect of this game to make certain features available to backers, especially one like this that could possibly allow for that certain flair or usage that only they know about and have plans for. Way to go on this thread. Looking forward to seeing what is developed by players ;). I will share once I get a moment to make mine.

Most definately. Armoiries and even artistically rendered symbols like @Lained sound perfectly reasonable, as long as it fits the lore.

Don't forget to make a transparent background !

I think so! As long as the image isn't copyrighted by somebody else, you're good to go.

I resized mine to 256px by 256px to fit their specs and to ensure I got maximum coverage without loss of image quality.

    Very nice, thanks for sharing.

I've messed with the generator and just haven't been satisfied with what I've come up with so far... so will wait until I have time to make one I like. Either that or I'll just upload something I prefer better.

What I'm wondering though is how this will work as far as patterns go. Will we be able to buy/craft additional patterns to add to other banners? Or are we only getting the 1 large and 1 medium banner and that's it?

If I understand it correctly, there will be more patterns available via the add-on store at some point. @DarkStarr - would you clarify/correct?

I would suggest the extra patterns should just be purchasable at an NPC merchant, much like the book cover patterns are. However, the designs are connected to the accounts with that reward, and at least in my case, that account is not my main that will be using them on things.

So I guess buying them through the add-on store with the appropriate account would be the only way to get my design... unless the image shown is dependent upon which account applies the pattern. In that case, I'll just have to have my alt apply the pattern after my main crafts the item. An extra step, but not a huge annoyance.

I'm excited by the possibilities, but will likely not create mine until I can get closer to what I have in my profile pic. Right now, I am really not liking the banners at all. Even if I could dye the banner, it would still just have, right in the center of it, this goofy little tiny image of what my entire banner should look like. I'm waiting until this is much better.

It only looks really good on the chest part of the tunic right now.

So this morning my device was still pending approval... I go see a movie and come home and it's Approved!
Heraldry Geek since I was 8 or 9 years old... After waiting 4 years, I finally get to see my device in game!
I run around and craft some plate to put it on... Salvage the plate pieces to get the Eternal Patterns...
    Reshape!
    Equip!

    And this:

At least the shield and banner works:

And, if you apply Royal Purple to the shield, it comes out Black.
For obvious reasons I can't tell what it does on the other pieces. :p

@Rufus D'Asperdi I really like the way you used the heater design within a larger charge. That really is a great outcome and looks fantastic!

Thank you. I'm a sneaky monkey. Adapt or die.

    It's called "In Escutcheon"

The Emblazon, which is the Verbal or Written description of a device, as opposed to the Blazon which is the pictorial depiction. would be:
Purpure, a two headed eagle displayed wings elevated maintaining in its dexter claw a scepter and in its sinister claw an orb Or, and in escutcheon per fess wavy azure and wavy argent and azure, a sun in his splendor Or issuant from the line of division, and a base vert.

If you apply a heraldry pattern to one of the heraldry items do they keep their immunity from looting?

I don't think you CAN apply a pattern to the supplied items...
    I couldn't figure out how...
I ended up salvaging them to get the Eternal Pattern.

The crests look awesome and they will give a lot of great looking variety to the games' look.

Agreed. Think the value is in the eternal pattern.
