Details: i have a greenhouse that is unwatered. it has been for a couple of hours, so it's not just coming unwatered and having to update the plots now. when i batch water an area of ~20 plants, between 1 and 3 of the unwatered spots will be watered. the rest are ignored. batch watering again in the same spot will get another few. i could stand here and batch water the area repeatedly until all the spots are watered, but i think it will be faster to water each individually.

it will get all the individual pots if there are some in the circle. it's failing on the multi-spot beds.

Also having this problem as of release 81, batch water hits only 1 planting spot.

 

Verified. Watered only one spot in each larger planting bed rather than each spot in the bed.

 

Yep, batch watering is broken. Watered like 4 spots out of 50 in my green house.

 

I can confirm this is totally broken, an hour ago it was working perfectly. This is a serious issue that I only can do 3 plant at a time when you have over 6000 plants to water 3 times in one day.

 

Thats half my lots.
I have 14,590 lots outdoors, 2,040 in greenhouses and 45,560 in dungeons.
I'm not watering these in singles.....
I have 3 hours until the entire crop is useless and becomes a total loss.

 

Thanks for all of the reports! I have found the issue in code and am working on a fix now for an upcoming patch.

 

Verified in planting beds only - not pots or barrels .

Also - verified in outdoors, greenhouses and dungeons.

 

Verifying batch watering is broken in greenhouse, and outside - might get 3 plants watered in random spots at most, but usually one. having to individually click to water every plant.

 

This seems to be a variation of the same bug, so I will put it here as a comment. I was going to make a new bug for it but it might be the same code.

I am doing the next day watering of a crop of garlic that has been growing for over 8 hours. I am late on the third watering, too bad. But wanted to get as much garlic as possible so I am trying to batch water. When I batch water 16 to 20 plants, only 4 or 5 of them are getting the water. This is pretty consistant each time I move and try again.

Thanks for this additional info. That appears to be the same bug, so it should be fixed now. The issue was that batch watering would only apply to one plant per planting bed, which can be seen in your video.
