Why do crafting rings never break?

    I literally destroy the equipment to get them, while the crafters don't kill a single monster and the equipment lasts forever.
    There is something deeply wrong and unfair about all of this.either all or none.

    that's because crafter's do not wear rings into combat unless they forget. just like mages that don't attack with wands or staffs take almost no damage to weapons because they are not hitting to break them. its being attacked and on death or using them to attack with that causes damage.

    Casting spells damages wands and staves.

    not as much as hitting things. its a lot less dmg casting than hitting. a huge difference..

    My ring of the frogkin takes no damage because I don't wear it into battle but I do use it to jump up onto things. My armor also takes almost no damage because I try very hard not to get hit.
