Acid based poison

It would be useful to have an acid-based poison (Made out of lemons perhaps?) for use against undead, such as skeletons and liches.

 

Holy oil.

Citric acid from lemons is actually incredibly tame, for an acid. Even in pure form, it only reaches a pH of 2.2. You'd be better off looking to using lye, a highly caustic base (pH of 14) commonly used in washing clothes and household cleaning, believe it or not. Prepared from leaching wood ash with water, too, so it's really simple to produce. Just takes ages to boil it down to concentrated form, where it'll actively start corroding things.

 

Wood ash is not in the game. Lemons are. And the game isn't particularly about realism, is it?

Nor do "earth" rules apply to "novia", clearly.

 

Doesn't need to be. Chunks of coal + a volume of wood + buckets of water is good enough, as that's all the ingredients- wood ash is just the intermediate step, but you don't need ash specifically as a step (though Sulfurous Ash already exists, so you could just recolour the image for that white/grey and voila, wood ash). As for "earth" rules vs "novia" rules, damn near everything else is the same, other than magic actually being a thing. Physics, crafting logic, food, harvestable materials, etc. and even in the case of magical components, they're based off the equivalent on Earth that has medieval(ish) age mystical lore about them, like the Mandragora officinarum, or Mandrake plant.
