I always assumed that ring adds dex, gives you better glancing blow and increases the damage you receive from critical hits. But i have honestly never tested it so not sure really.

This. I find the price fair, 10$ for a cosmetic option, because let's face it, a different way to deco your lot IS cosmetic, as if you wanted to plant stuff, you could do it in your house or craft a greenhouse row, so it is not breaking the game in any way IMO. And like I just said, 10$ is not much if you compare it to deco options like the mannequins or statues and stuff.

I don’t disagree with the need/option to utilize the row lots. I just can’t for the life of me think why this is something that demands the need to be in COTO shop. Premium/cash currency to in effect get an empty plot. Should be in game gold, should be on the housing merchant.

"Empty Lot" for a row lot should be changed to "Default Row House" or something else.

If there are some they haven't removed the word "deed" from, they should, it's been confusing people since persistence.

The truth does not have to make sense...

I suggest we rename it to "Green Housing Permit", get LEED points for it...fight Urban Blight!

I thought that was the original decision, but it seems to have switched somewhere along the way.
Well, this is very similar to the mannequin issue. The reason row lots have default houses, unlike other sized lots, is that they are designed to block the field of view. This reduces the number of items they need to draw in very large towns. Allowing them all to be set to empty is not in their best interest, so they are adding the option but with a cash sink requirement. I'm not a fan of the RMT requirement, but I understand the basic desire for it.

If they wanted to add a gold-only option, they could add things to the Crown Shop version that would make it more appealing. How about some grass/tree mower "deco" like POTs get, or a "choose your own trees/plants" bundle?
