I've grown my royal elderberry, but can't craft it into Dye. I place it, and two lumps of coal onto the tanning table and it won't let me hit craft.

@Dargalin When you close out of the crafting UI, then reactivate the crafting station, are you still not able to craft Royal Purple Dye?

Does it need a recipe? All the dye recipes I have can not be traded, they are higher recipes, I don't think you can learn them by discovery.

I think this might be the issue. If you didn't have the recipe in your book before the changes to discovery and don't have an actual recipe "reward" to learn it from... you won't be able to craft the dye since the recipe is not tradeable.

Maybe this is one dye recipe that should get flagged as discoverable and/or tradeable so people who have the berries can make the dye?

I agree daxxe, Being how its is kind of a pledge item, it should be discovered.

yeah, the Dye should Only be teachable, not re-teachable only from people who actually have the item on the rewards

I agree. If we got the royal elder berry in order to make royal purple dye as a pledge reward, then we should be able to make royal purple dye (ie: be able to discover it) :)
