Trophees outside the hollow log house

I have the hollow log house and trophees would very much fit at the front side, but i can only put banners and lamps there, so how about changing it to accept mounted heads and antlers too?

(and i can not place a chest beside the door outside either....)

 

I don't know if this is just an issue with this house or overall but with this house the front door is on default locked, i set it to unlocked each day and when i log back in its back to being locked. The backdoor is default unlocked and if i lock it, the next login it is unlocked...
