    What item will generate silver scraps when salvaged?
    Where is the "best" place to farm this item (AL 60+)?

    As far as I know, scraps are generic. You have metal, leather, wood and fabric scraps that you will receive for salvaging an item, regardless of the specific type of material used to create it (i.e. if you have a sword you know was made with meteoric iron, you will only receive metal scraps when salvaging).

    I don't think you can generate silver or gold scraps anymore. They used to be the result of failed craftings but that changed several releases ago.

    Unfortunately the silver and gold scraps are missing in game.
    Yet the recipes are there, non-functional.
