    SO Jealous..

    Here in Texas, we DO have an evangelical state representative that introduces a bill every legislative session to decriminalize marijuana on the grounds that God created it.
    I'm hoping that they see the tax income generated in Colorado and Washington and elsewhere and legalize it here... But I'm not holding my breath.

    Marijuana is the God's Lettuce!

    It's also safe, healthy (if not smoked but eaten) and can ease some medical conditions. It's known to all but halt seizures and the advancement of glaucoma. My son, who has epilepsy, uses it and went from 1-2 seizures a week to 1-2 a year, max. CBD, a cannabinoid contained in marijuana is what makes it possible. There are no recorded deaths from cannabis use, no domestic violence due it and the only addictive quality is psychological, meaning it is about as addictive as sugar. It is not a gateway drug. In fact, it is used to help opiate addicts stop using opiates. Washington State has enough data now to prove this.

    Cannabis was demonized during a time when hemp was competing with crude oil to fuel the boom in automobile use. The Rockefellers and Carnegies lobbied hard to outlaw it. It had nothing to do with the drug being dangerous, however that was the spin they used.
