What and where are you hunting?

I've been in The Rise now for over a week every night, and it's getting.... tedious. So what are you hunting and where? I'm looking for something other than The Rise that gives about the same XP and loot, but I'm not wanting to pvp unless it's a last resort.

 

I'm hunting ores everyday since persistence started... LOL

 

I use to be hunted by wolves

 

K'rul is a good spot.

 

Forage and mine twin foothills for copper/tin/beetles/messers/flamburgs/rusty equipment
Serpant spine foothills for beetles/iron/nickel/clubs/rusty equipment

Havent tried new tenebris harbor yet but pirates give good money.

I dont grind for XP, but i switch it up for money.

Hoarders never get paid. Live in the now

 

toadstools in spindrift passage. when i'm tired of that it'll be back to twins foothills for money and xp. (not that spindrift isn't good for money with all those gem nodes, but it's a pain to get to.)

 

Ulfeim gives you a great mix of adv xp and producer xp with a wide veriaty of mobs. I've been hunting in the Rise during 2x to power pure adv XP but Ill move back to Ulfeim soon so start ramping up my stuff to prepare for the 2x prod XP coming soon.

 

I like deep ravensmoore for obsidian wolf and bear carcasses, plus the xp is good.
However, if Im in just for the adventuring xp, I'll go for either the rise or grannus colossus (less mages here).
Sequanna colossus is a place I like for gold/sellable loot, if you get the chests.

 

Ha like you I've lived in the Rise for 2 solid weeks and will be soooo glad to do other stuff for a couple of weeks i.e. gathering / killing different stuff in different zones and some much needed house keeping in Wightwick

 

The mountain troll bros are kind of fun, and they decreased the spawn time on that encounter, so you can kill them pretty much nonstop now. The xp isn't that great, but the loot is pretty decent if you're a fast troll slayer. I like to go there sometimes when I get bored with other stuff.

 

Dunnu, i like mages..they are so pleasantly squishy for arrows...

 

I like sieges, especially since the repeatable arcane catalyst quest was added. I sometimes avoid the cabalist, generally only when there is more than one and combo of the curses make the fight very hard.
Avara and anyone is generally hard, killing without using focus is at best slow and at worst deadly.

My advise for cabalists, check the curse debuff (yellow icon on your status) for the cabalist before engaging. At least until you have learned which cabalist does what curse. You may want to amend your deck for the fight.

Northern Blackblade Mountains. Satyr Mine (These Satyr's drop = Supply Bundles [Yellow]) Dragons, Darkstarr Corpions, and Huge corpions, it may not be quite up to the rise but it could be fun as a vacation for you.

 

Our three-man guild group is looking for hunting ground suggestions.

We can handle the first/ground floor of K'rul, but not the top yet. It's getting a little stale for us, though. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

 

All my spots are mentioned already except Crag Foothills.

 

I like obsidians golens and lich minibosses in ruins and shardfalls. The rise, ulfheim and crags foothills is also nice.

Lost vale cabalist room is really good.

Very dissaponted with tenebris harbor, easy mobs and junk loot.

Im planning to start farming in the fall soon

 

I hunt in any place that has player vendors, I seek the lowest prices for all resources so I can craft more, but alas, I can't afford any of them, so I'm stuck gathering them myself...

 

I’ve been running around the map checking out various Tier 3 and 4 areas I’ve never been too. I can kind of handle Tier 4 (yellow to me creatures). You probably see me running around the map all the time (Anpu). Some really interesting places...
