A new QA build has been published, build 679! This one actually moves the builds back to Unity 2017.4 instead of 2018.1, as we did this build to test a potential fix for the 98% loading issue. Unfortunately, we have already repro'd the issue in the office on the latest build, so we don't think this fix worked. We will be trying something else again shortly. We will likely move back to more 2018.1 testing in another build or two. Thanks for all of the reports so far!

Makes sense to do it that way. Well keep us posted for when it does get enabled.

Another new build has been published, number 680. This one is also still on Unity 2017.4, with another attempt at addressing the 98% load issue. This fix attempt involves turning off a performance optimization, so in addition to trying to reproduce the 98% loading hang, I would be interested in hearing any reports about framerate changes from previous builds, or the current live build.

Just started testing performance in build 680. Seems to be running pretty well over all.

I changed my settings to Fantastic and although there is occasional hitching/stuttering, I'm getting the following frame rates:

Virtue Oasis: 30-40 FPS (Metropolis POT with a large PVP arena built, all 11 devotionals, and lots of decorated housing)
    Hidden Vale: 45-62 FPS
    Owl's Head: 20-32 FPS
    Brittany (Docks area): 17-26 FPS
Novia (From Brittany to East Reach Gap): 30-45 FPS (58-60 if standing still)
    Ardoris (Sequanna Square): 18-25 FPS

That's pretty good as far as FPS goes... but the stuttering/hitching is pretty constant when I'm running around. Also, loading screens don't seem to have been improved much.

Here are my specs from the /devbug:

The first night was fantastic. last night performance took a massive hit. Pretty much made navigation etc unplayable.

I set video to Beuitful and stepped into a siege. I play at around 3/4 4K resolution in a window.

With just one clients open (QA):

Its choppy as hell with 30 fps when I usually have a solid 60

So to compare, I actually opened up the same window on the main client which now gives me 2 SOTS clients open at 3/4 4K resolution and I stepped into the same siege on and have a solid 50+ fps (which I would expect having 2 clients open)

This is a screen shot of both clients running at the same time, in the same zone.

Im seeing no other issues like hitching and such on either client. Loads fine, works fine, just lower fps.

@2112Starman I would think running both clients simultaneously wouldn't be a valid test - like running 2 radar detectors simultaneously - unless you've already seen the same results with only 1 running at a time.

yes, like I had said, 60 FPS no problem on prod client, 30 fps on QA when they were not running at the same time

A new QA build was published today, 684. This build is back on Unity 2018.1 for Windows and OSX. Performance optimization that sometimes causes the 98% loading hang is enabled, but with some attempts at working around the problem and reducing the frequency.

This build will be a full download from 0-684 for the patch client, sorry about that!

We also have a brief maintenance window for the QA server happening right now.

    Hello,

some reporting back from High Sierra MacOsX 27"iMac. Novia on Retina+fantastic ist 11fps, Nightshade Pass on Retina+fantastic is 11fps. Nightshade Pass on non-Retina+fantastic (2560x1440) is 11-15 fps. In other words: Nightshade Pass is slooooow, even on lower resolution.

A new QA build was just published, version 690 - which includes all three platforms this time. There is a brief maintenance window happening right now to bring fresh data back over from Live to QA and to test some database migrations.

Another new build was just published, 692! This one is just a minor bug fix patch for some inventory/bag issues, with no other changes from 691.
