Who keeps SOTAMap up to date on the world map? It's horribly out of date.

Portalarium does. They know, it's on The List.

However, I will mention that the recent change to automated house data has really messed things up. For instance, look at Brookside, there are entire chunks of phantom row houses on the map northeast of downtown near Samael's house.

They will update the map as soon as the map-feature arrives on Linux.

I for one, know that the current implementation of the map will not be ported to GNU/Linux ever.

The map at https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/map/ is the only version now. "SotAMap" is no longer an entity now that Portalarium owns the technology.

I volunteer to update thing on a monthly basis... it's just been wrong for so long now. Not the towns though... just the overworld.

@Rok Yrikk seems to be focused solely on the in-game map (which Linux users can't even see).

Why will the map not work with Linux?

It was explained in one of the recent livestreams that the plugin used by the map system was only written for Windows / Mac. Now that Portalarium owns the map technology and has brought it in house, they are actively working each release to get the map system functional for Linux.

The problem is that the Unity plugin was built using a library that houses an entire Chrome browser and the library has problems being built on Linux (I tried this myself and every version seems to have some new build error).
