It would be nice while doing things like smelting that take long periods to be able to decouple the camera so you cold look around the town while you wait to start the next patch of work?

Does that make any sense, though? I prefer the current setup.

What? you like staring at the bench for hours? (By look around I do not mean interact just fly the camera around looking at various people homes and scenery etc. Its possible and well implemented in games like World of tanks where the camera can just zoom around the field looking at things.

But that's an entirely different game. Couldn't your idea be used against people in pvp situations?

You didn't? I guess you couldn't use a crafting table and scout out a zone for free, with your idea?

come to think of Im sure you cannot PvP while standing at a crafting bench unless you like being a sitting duck.

Ive never seen a crafing station sitting in a open zone. Im just talking within the residential/city area zone you are in at the crafting table.

You wouldnt want to be able to go out into a combat area or different zone.

What if instead you could hire an apprentice NPC that would smelt for you at a given rate.

I call him my little brother :)

My daughter just gave me a good laugh, she looked at this conversation and said "PvP, it's why we can't have nice things" :D
