Been out for awhile again. When are cloth maps/stuff shipping?

So im a lord founder... Been real busy with life not been playing much lately. Wondering if anyon received their backer rewards yet like the cloth map signed and deed to your home yet? I forgot when those were shipping.

We haven't determined yet when the cloth map rewards from the livestream will be going out, as we want to make sure we can provide the cloth map to original backers first if possible. As always, Release rewards usually take another release or two in order to be awarded.

 

It was pretty clearly stated in the telethon that the time it would take to get the telethon prize maps to players would be WELL before kickstarter and pledge backers would be getting theirs, even with signatures!

 

I don't recall them ever saying that.

I do... @Chris said that unsigned maps could just be dropped in the mail, and that signed maps would take more time, though he was unspecific about how much time... some number of weeks.

 

They never said that getting a signed map would be before backers get theirs. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that signing the backers' maps takes priority.

 

This is all a tangent, and unrelated to the OP's question... He's asking when the Physical Goods will be shipped, not the Cloth Maps awarded during Friday's live stream.

 

It was said in the stream that your map could be shipped out and in your hand in a couple of weeks, which, given recent mumblings that the physical goods have been pushed back, means if you "won" a map during the telethon and don't want your map signed, it would be in your hands well before a backer got theirs.

 

I know there's a lot of angst around this but only Portalarium can answer that.

Yeah, that's a bit different than what you said before.

 

Yeah... I believe the wording for signed maps was something to the effect of "a little longer". So no, not really.

 

Perhaps Berek, or DarkStarr might be able to talk to Chris and get him to hold onto the maps signed or unsigned and hold onto them until After the Physical Good ship as it seems to be a bit of a PR problem.
Personally, I don't care... I'll get my Physical Goods, and I won't begrudge anyone getting a map before I get one... I'm not that special.

Well, if you believe that RG is going to set aside the backers' maps in order to sign those livestream giveaway maps....

 

Maps from Kickstarter have to be shipped back to the company that is packaging the game boxes, so backers would get their maps when they got their box, whenever that is.

Those who won maps on the livestream are not restricted by a packaged box, so they can get their maps dropped in the mail relatively soon. From what I remember, if you just wanted a non-signed map, it wouldn't take long. If you wanted it signed, then it depended on who was available and when.
