A Fond Farewell

    I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Portalarium and the Shroud of the Avatar Community for allowing me to be a part of this most excellent adventure. The team here was such a pleasure to work with and we all really have such a great friendship and camaraderie going on.

    This is the first time I have had the opportunity to work on a game which has such a focus and emphasis on the players' input. It's something special to get such an abundance of suggestions, thoughts, ideas, likes, and dislikes from so many people that are so incredibly passionate about this game. The involvement of so many people, players and developers alike, make SotA an experience unlike any other in existence. You can all be very proud of what we have so far and what the game is going to continue to evolve into because you are all so deeply involved.

    The team that is still working on the game are all carrying on the same culture and enthusiasm that we have always had in the Portalarium office and I have no doubt that we will see the game continue to be great.

    I will continue to play the game as a non-developer character so I'll be sure and toss you friend invites as I pass you in game.

    Thank you to everyone in the community that I have met over the years. Getting to know and become friends with so many of you has been so great. You gave me so many awesome ideas and it was always a pleasure to see you enjoying the emotes, dances, pets, combat, and monsters.

    So I bid thee all a very fond farewell and will see you around. Be excellent to eachother.

    You will be missed but glad to hear we will see you around in game. I know it's not the same but I remember the first time I met you when I had my first catwalk and fashion show years ago and you hung out for quite a bit and chit chatted. Little things like that have kept me playing all these years.
