    Hi there, I have seen these for sale at several vendors, so I am assuming that these drop. Does anyone know if they are just a random drop from the Atavist Bosses from the random encounters or are they a quest reward?

    If it is a random drop, is it quite rare?

    It's a pretty common RECIPE drop from the boss atavist. maybe 50%.

    Is the boss the Luminous Atavist that appears after the Knight purifiers?

    Hi, just looted it now, 9th guy. You're not far away brother. Drop rate may be more akin to 10% :)

    I got 4 recipes out of 16 encounters. Not all encounters spawned the luminous atavist though.
    Now the million gold question is...has anyone gotten a recipe for the HAT? Robe looks a bit silly on its own...but them hats....

    Yeah, that's what I thought. Would also explain why you can't dye the robe. (In case someone went for the full white KKK look). That said, if they wanted to avoid that, why let us loot the robe in the first place. Better allowing us to loot the set or not at all.

    If they want to avoid the KKK connotation then...best remove the mobs from the game or change their outfits. If the outfits are going to remain, no harm in letting players wear them and look exactly like the mobs. They aren't dye-able, so that's less of an issue.

    Now adays it's used on Easter week (called here something like Holy Week) by very devoted religious brotherhoods, who wear the and do long walks called Procesiones, with representations of Virgin Mary

    Just to say guys...sadly the debate is officially over. Just got confirmation from Darkstarr himself, the hoods do not drop, only the robes :(

    Yes, me too. Perhaps there is a plan for them to drop as a quest reward. Here's holding out hope. Would love a quest chain featuring these guys. Way too cool to just have forever as random encounters :)
