So, I vend in real life.

its 9:59pm, and i have a customer talking to me.

You know what I do? I talk to them until they are done, whether they make a purchase or dont, regardless of how long it takes them.

You know what I don't do? I dont just turn around and walk away from them.

Vendors, need to have all schedules, movement, etc "frozen" when someone enters an interface with them.

I just had the public vendor open. I just had it full of purchases. It moved before I was done and closed my window.

You know what im not doing? Buying all those goods from those players now.

What public vendor is moving? That should be bugged. I know the normal vendors do it but most PV's don't go anywhere from what I've seen.

And yes, if you are already talking to them they should stay, regardless of the vendor.

Happened to me this morning. I had all my purchases queued up, and the COTOs to trade for them. I was about to hit accept, and the merchant walked away without warning.

The public vendor down by the docks in Central Brit does it all the time.

Agreed, this is infuriating. Hell, having any of the NPCs walking away in the middle of a conversion in awful; I don't read quest dialogue, not because I don't want to, but because I'm worried the NPC is just going to walk away.

I go into the bank in some town, run up the stairs and the housing merchants decide that it's time for a smoke break and run downstairs. I chase them downstairs and when I get there, they decide that it's time to go back upstairs. This actually happens quite a lot and is super frustrating.

And if you talk to them at the "wrong" time - it is a virtue hit. It would be nice if there was some sort of warning that the NPC doesn't want to talk right now.
