Looks like a new string of sub-continent/islands off the north coast of Novia, and a few small islands off the east coast. Thoughts? Feedback?

I think I heard a comment about Lord British's Castle being in the Episode 2 lands...

Doesn’t look like doubling the landmass for future episodes or anything but honestly there’s plenty of room to flesh out current map so that’s fine.

The rest of the world of which Episode 1 was but onecontinent shall have to wait :)

they've shifted the vale a little bit west, too, compared to the website. maybe this means they'll put all of it in one overworld scene finally.

however, that ain't enough new land, espcially given all the nested pots that were hoping there'd be room for them to move to the overworld.

It definitely didn't double in size but I really like the serpent shape :) They wanted to do this in U7 Serpent Isle but ended up not doing it.
As long as it's full of content I am fine with less land than expected.

I would like the serpent shape more if it didn't really emphasize how square the initial lands were.

I blame the early cartographers for doing the survey wrong.

I'll have to watch the archive video. I missed the first two hours. Anyway, is that a giant volcano or giant shardfall in the ocean? That and broken skull island.

Maybe there will be a massive Noviaquake to change the techtonics.

I never cared about land mass. Scene density is better anyways.

If that's the final position of the Hidden Vale, you would think there would be a ferry directly from Port Graff, instead of making passengers go all the way down Spindrift, passing the scallywags in Blood Bay.

The Serpent Archipelago would be Lord British's lands, I assume the skull is Atos' Atol, and the starburst is DarkStarr's isles.

I do hope the Benefactor symbol and the globe are updated as new lands are added.

    So, I see a skull, a half-crab claw, a snake, a star and a flacid penis.

(Also, this map was noted as just being a rough draft and not final. I imagine there will be changes.)

The serpent islands concept looks great. The size of the new landmass is about what I expected, using past Ultimas as a reference. While some of the areas do look small from an overland perspective, the quality of the new scenes added ultimately will be what matters. What I most wonder is if there will be a new underseas dungeon passage leading to the islands....

I can get behind the serpent isle feature being shaped like a serpent, fine. But the other two... perhaps less exact shapes and perhaps just something on the landmass that helps give the name to the area instead of seeing exact representational shapes of the areas. Cat Island, Deer Island, Fish Island, Crab Island, etc don't all have to look like their names. Just saying.

As far as total landmass, I full expect there to be more in the future, but take this into consideration. If they are working on content to fill these areas, would you really want them to just drop a whole continent, with nothing in it, in the next episode? We already have people complaining about empty zones and hardly used NPC/Player towns now... That would probably just ratchet up the complaints even more. So, adding some landmass but working and fleshing out those portions first seems better to me than just dropping landmasses willy nilly all over the place. Sure, they can throw in the entire rest of the world in episode 2 if they want... but what's the point of a bunch of empty zones and landmasses?

What a massive waste of resources making new continents

Is there anyone complaining about not enough territory or zones to visit?

Almost all of the zones already in game could use improvement.

Fill them out with NPC's / Quests so each zone is a complete product.

Give each zone a unique reason to fight or gather in it. Even for high level players to revisit.

There must be a 1000 ways to improve existing zones.

Why create new ones we don't need and likely won't for a while.

Blashpemy, the original lands are Ultima I / III lands so they're perfect !!

The Serpent Archipelago, or whatever they're calling it, I am glad it's not a mother huge continent like the Ultima 9 area from the world map. That would be way too much and cause a lot of issues.

The new lands should become more desirable and they might open up choice areas on the mainland to grab.

Excited to finally visit Palaces of Virtue (Are we gonna get a new Lyceum ? I hope so) and LB's Castle.

They did say in the stream that they'd be adding content to existing lands so that's covered.

Honestly, it's not enough new land ? The world is so empty already as it is. I dunno if it's just because lapsed players never bothered to claim their lots, but there's a ton of lots nobodys using and are unavailable, and even the players that did place some properties never came back in 5 years to decorate them, so I don't think we need more gigantic landmasses.
