Advice Please - Tips on being an effective healer for a group...

I forgot to mention that the hybrid heat deck allows you to have one of your cards locked and the others listed unlocked. As such I have 4 t2 heals on the unlocked portion and the 5th locked as a heat.

This also means that your max heat charge is one less at 4 charges instead of 5. (I keep the burst in the unlocked set as I hardly use it.)

You gave me a lot to think about in regards to being a dedicated Healer for a group....
After-all, when you put up your hand & say I will the groups healer, their Lives are literally in your hands (& skills)

But I will need to study up on decks, as I only use a locked deck, as the deck making process beyond that, confuses me completely.
I guess that is an education to undertake another day....

There is also the 3 day duration blessing buff (can have 2 of these *blessings* also in addition to others) from Blood River Forest that gives you +10% healing modifier & regeneration

While this doesn't particularly answer any of the OP's questions, the F# keys are your friends as they helps you target your allies without clicking on them.

A friend pointed out that ally health bars should be blue or teal coloured... to better identify friend from foe (especially when everyone's all bunched up together).

 

One other thing to add the break point for healing touch to hit 5 yards is level 104 life reach. So if you take life reach to one hundred go a little higher to hit this mark it's a big help to have that extra yard.
