Aether Liches

3 of them in Deep Ravenswood ?
Is this intended ?

 

OMG, that is a bit much ….. where did they put them, so I can avoid them there

 

It should be in the middle of the zone with the other liches and undead.

 

I got a critical damage from one 800 ouch good luck

 

Awww. Crap. These are harder than most of the existing bosses then? I was really hoping to kill some with one or two friends. Oh well. At least the looking for group thing is AWESOME. It'll be fun to party up to take them down!

 

They do not appear all the time. We waited 20 minutes in party mode and finally found two of them. If you see blue, have friends with you or run!

 

I was hoping this was a bug, as all three of them had the same name. But then I went to the blackblade mountains to check out the aether corpions and there were also 3 of them pretty close together.
Seems like the scenes with aether mobs now are a no go for solo players, execpt for some elite players...

 

Is the aether lich a fighter, archer or mage?

What's really fun is the aether dragons spawning two right next to each other in Blackblade. Then the random leashing after getting down to 20k health out of 39k

 

just get killed by one of this.. 830 hp in one shot... never seen something like that.

 

And this is what sucks..... I AM A SOLO player, and am finding it harder and harder to play... I am getting sick of staying in the same ole zones, where thy did not add the new mobs..... I think they are going over board with this, or they need to place these mobs separate in the zones, away from the other content... or what the heck are we SOLO avatars going to do?

 

I do agree with you that the placement of these new mobs seems rather random and without thought, but I do think SotA lacks much viable or challenging group content. I am pretty much a solo or duo player, but I do feel that there a lack of raid like content. Any other multiplayer game like WoW, ESO, FFIVX, etc. has some content players just can't solo which I am fine with. In fact many games have world events or world bosses that need to be done as a group but the placement of those are typically done in a way that the rest of the area can still be soloed. Loot for these world events and bosses need to be cranked up to make it worth it. Sharing 13 gold between 6 people is a joke.

 

What was it that the lich hit you with?

 

I'm all for group content but come on...adding mobs that will 1-shot the majority of the playerbase to lower tier scenes (and solo scenes, like mines) is just an absurdity.
Esp. when losing hundreds of thousands of xp per death as a cost to entry. To get what? 50g worth of loot? Risk vs. Reward ? = you are doing it wrong.

You just have to pull them one at a time. Yesterday they were 3 of them near each other just pull them one after an other

 

I used to wreck central DR. I guess that won't be happening anymore.

 

i thought that on deep Raven the Lich would be placed on the spot whit the giant spider near ruins on top of scene... but placed with other enemies completely STOPS players to do deep-raven. i know that on party of 3-4 this lich can be killed.. but when it spawn.. it can kill someone randomly (LIKE A LOTTERY) ... too high risk. i lost 180.000 of pool for this stupid thing.

 

Yeah I know. It is only supposed to be for this release though until the comet goes away.
