Fixed - Has this happened to someone else? - purple screen in game?

Hi,

I just created a bug report for this, but figured I could ask the community if this has happened to anyone else.
After yesterdays release my game world and avatar is purple, so I can't see very much in game
The mouse and all menus and e.g. chat and inventory window works.

I tried the normal stuff: updating the Nvidia gfx driver, restarting computer, changing to fastest gfx setting and windowed mode.
I don't really want to uninstall / resinstall.

That looks like a dead/dying video card.

Possibly out of date drivers?

Can you update your drivers? Are you seeing this in other 3D Games or just SotA?

 

I have seen similar "pink" areas in-game before, but never have I seen virtually the whole screen as pink.

When I did see pink areas though, it was usually a glitch on Port's end and it was fixed in the next patch.

did you update via Steam or direct @Svahn ?

As this seems unique to you it sounds liek a corrupt patch. Steam allows you to repair a game, direct probably does something as well (I don't use it) but you may need to repair your recent update patch.

 

I update via Steam.
Uninstallation and reinstallation fixed it.
