I do not have a high level in these skills, so they may do something like this already... but:

Allow Vanish and Camouflage, at sufficient skill level and when successfully used, to break aggro and hide while in combat. Vanish is, to my understanding, instantaneous but lower stealth, while Camouflage has a timed cast and higher stealth. If the skills have a drawback, such as a large global cooldown (worse than, for example, root) it would still make Escape a viable alternative for people who just want to get aggro off of them in PvE (such as healers, ranged DPS in groups) but continue using skills.

Shadow form and silent movement maintain their utility as allowing stealth, and cannot be started once an enemy notices you. However, if a character successfully hides (Camouflage or Vanish) first, then the character can enter stealth after waiting for the relatively large global cooldown to lapse. In PvP, Reveal Hidden could become useful as a countermeasure to keep these characters from entering stealth, as they would have to be stationary for a time before entering Silent Movement / Shadow Form.

Additionally: Fireflies should prevent a character from entering stealth (in PvE and PvP--this may already be the case?). As a counter measure, the combo skill Darkness (Light + Juxtapose) could remove Fireflies, and/or grant a small boost to stealth skills.

And add a couple of hotbar slots while they're at it. 1-off abilities don't make the cut on a limited-to-10-slots hotbar given abilities like this have very limited situational use. And waiting for it to cycle through a deck when you need it is a crap shoot. (Sort of related, this was a common complaint when Dragon Age: Inquisition limited slots to 8. All those situational abilities just got left off the plate because more reliable abilities have a drastically higher payoff.)

The skills haven’t changed in function in 4 years. I doubt anything is going to be done to rectify the multitude of issues concerning them.

    Good luck.
