Question is...was that the mail carrier or the dog?

No, I have had this happen sometimes myself. Even though I live in America, my yard is completely fenced and behind the fence I have shrubs/hedges all around it. It is European style... I casted a bronze plate sign letting the mailman know to put packages into the copper casted box that is literally impossible to miss, that I made myself, which is off to the right side of my mailbox (which is also tall and made of stone with my last name and another plate under it).

The usual mailman does this. But odd USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc... the ones who are in a hurry and don't even read the gigantic signs (or care) will literally either chuck it over my fence or leave it in front of my fence for anyone who walks down the road to pick up and steal. I have complained so many times. I live in a great subdivision of town. You still get those new people who don't know how to do their jobs, regardless of how much you complain to the shipping company.

Is this Portalariums fault? No... It is the mail carrier. But Portalarium could send a new one as this customer waited so long and obviously was very thrilled at his physical rewards. They could even request he send it back to them free of charge (although my company wouldn't, but I would understand for trust issues).

"Pics or it didn't happen" - he sent pics.

    @Chris
    @DarkStarr

Please reach out to him. It would be honorable.

One of the advantages of living in a city.

I hope you're able to get a replacement.

It’s crap like this, that always happens, due to inept carriers, that I just ship any packages to my work.

I have already wiped the slobber and dirt off of it carefully, there was no cellophane on the box, [IMG]

but if you look you can see that both the front and back is HORRIBLY scratched up and the corner is ripped and torn. Thank GOD she didn't manage to get the box open or the entire contents would have been destroyed.

So I have to ask the really obvious question here?

What does your dog chewing up you box have anything to do with a failure on Portalariums end?
And the title of this thread?

They packaged and shipped your box as promised.
    It was delivered.

How is any of this Ports fault or failure?

You may have a beef with the postal service. or your dog.

But your box was packaged shipped and delivered.

    My 2 cents.

Looks like the contents inside will be ok, just the box itself being mangled a bit.

As Laz says... suck of a situation, but nothing to be Port's fault. Looks like you'll have to work with our community if you want a sealed copy. I voluntarily put myself in the same position by opening mine today when it came because I wanted the stuff inside more than just a sealed version to put up. Plus I wanted to see if I got the Last Map (signed with extra LB doodles)... I didn't.

    Best of luck, though!

Yeah it's really not Port's fault man.

One of the signs of maturity in life is stepping up and accepting responsibility for things.

Having said that, I am truly sorry this happened to you.

Never said it was directly Port's fault, just venting in disappointment that my box is ruined, and questioning the delivery service choice so I might could find out who delivered it.

If you're in the US, your beef is with the United States Postal Service. And perhaps your senators and congressmen for not allowing them to fail and be replaced with a proper, decent private service that's accountable.

I assume, "she" is the guilty looking doggy? ;)

Well, I am sorry for this happens, because the deliverer tossed it into the yard :(

I smiled, watching the dog pictures and thought the same as @Synergy Blaize :)
The Avatar dog liked the package, no question about that! :)
He wanted to open it! How cool is that!
Sorry for my kind of humor - but I can imagine this so good :.)
We also had a dog and he just looked like this one! Really.
And especially if he did something he shouldn't ;)
(taking something from my plate, as I was in the kitchen ...)

May be Portalarium can provide an empty box for you.
And if not: I think it is great from @3devious sharing a box with you!

@DarkStarr, @Sannio: there could be a new -dayly- quest!
The town crier also could ask to find a special missing package - somewhere in Novia :)
We could follow a mark, something like scavenger hunt!
And -of course- a dog should play a role in this very special quest, ... sometimes ...

Cool. The reason we got that impression is your original post where you said WTH followed by Chris and Starr's @names.

I still haven't gotten mine and I'm getting a little worried. I live in Louisiana and was sure it would have been delivered by now. Maybe I was the victim of a neighbor's dog as well.

I visited New Orleans 3 summers ago -- loved it! Beignets, seafood, French Quarters, the ninth ward. Beautiful city, and good to see the amazing restoration efforts since Katrina.

I actually preferred the shrimp over the crawfish since the shrimp packed more meat (crawfish have the big head which you basically throw away -- leaving just a tiny half left!).

If you like to eat, New Orleans is definitely the place to be! :)

Hope you get your SotA package soon!
