There was a yesterday (build 826). That isn't the one with the new bears.

Both <1 % with 140 taming. Apparently they are in the Twins Foothills as well.

Even the ferocious Obsidian which has 14390 hp and is a ***** to get down solo, with 140 in taming i still cant get Taming chance above <1%...…
I think this is a bit excessive ....140 is a stupid amount of xp to put into one skill...and with that i cant tame even the Ferocious Obsidian..which has under half the hp of the Destroyer...what does that take??

 

One report puts it at 170 witch imop is extream but 150 - 160 with dbl xp and ut reasonable I think. I really thought though 150 would be enough.

I know of 8 or 9 people well into the 140s now

 

IMO making these 2 bears so tough was a really bad move an to make it so they need so high of a taming level was again a bad move, only skill tree ingame that takes this much to even get half way end game, hell I would hate to see the focus cost of one of them...………. leave a 1k focus character with 20 focus? I mean really jumping from what 118 for the darkstar corp, ferocious patriarch and then needing 160 to 170 freaking taming...…… with no pets inbetween at all that coulda been of use...…….

 

Yea I wonder at the stats some day we will know. The large obi shoulda been a 89 level pet or a step between imop.

Even with that it wont be long till these are flooding the market.

 

Well i will drop from the taming treadmill personally now. 140 was more than i wanted to put into one skill and i would have thought the lesser ferocious one would have been possible with 140 at least. I like grinding i find it relaxing but even i am not going to contemplate taking a skill above 150.....I only want to play games for a max of 2 hrs a day now, i have put way to much time in here that's good for me!...and that means either grind here to attempt to one day in the far far future have the possibility of taming one..or investing the time in something with maybe more reward/future...Hangs up my whistles....

Requiring over 140 taming for these bears is BAD GAME DESIGN. They should be 110 to 120 taming. Wyvern 130 to 140 MAYBE 150 AT MOST. Anything higher clearly demonstrates contempt for those playing this game and a lack of knowledge of the game.

How did the meeting go? Lets FINALLY introduce some cool new tamable high level creatures but ensure not one damn tamer can tame them even after years of the game being in persistence. EXCELLENT IDEA, PROCEED!

I assume we will need a decade of grinding experience to tame a Wyvern? Solution give us 10 times XP for a COTO per hour. Lets monetize this ****.

To go from 150 to 170 taming is over 800 mil exp. I'm guessing nothing is going to need 170 unless we get gear that adds to the taming skill.

 

I imagine we are getting buffs to taming spec or gear that will add to taming, in the meantime has anyone tamed the fero obi yet? Is anyone over 150 in taming?
