Unless I am mistaken, I don't see anything that was exclusive to the kickstarter before today that is being sold on the add on store.

 

If you mean the crafting stations, they're still unique -- They either have a "founder" or a "benefactor" flag on them.

 

Yes the crafting stations are different, but the Commission Free Vendors were originally backer only.

that is why I said "this decision", aka the post today about the selling of commission free vendors. I simply stated the last time i requested information from Portalarium, I got zero response well beyond their minimum needed time frame to respond. My guess is they ran out of bandwidth.

There was already people upset with the commission free vendors going into the bundles back in the day, but I never pried for information about that decision back then. The larger cost with the bundles tended to keep most who questioned this decision quiet, because bundles were similar enough to a pledge/backer. I am simply asking them for information about the decision to do this, this time.

 

I hope Port knows what they are doing. (I love this game and want to see it succeed)

Bundles are now a pretty bad deal (See below for example)

They have effectively traded some big ticket items (bundles) for lots of smaller items (CFV etc) in the store.

I hope the strategy works. (They are gonna need to sell a lot of $31 dollar vendors and $7 dollar ornate deco items to hit $80k+ each month...)

yeah this is why i put in a request for information about this decision, the massive lower cost of the Commission Free Vendor is something I find interesting and thus want more information. Better to ask for info about decision making than to judge based off zero information.

 

The vendors were never exclusive to backers, it was only the house deeds that were said to be exlusive only. I am pretty sure, anyway

 

Some of the houses were certainly exclusives at the higher level tiers, and I'd expect those will remain that way. Some decor was exclusive, but I think exclusive in the sense of the designs on them (Founder/Benefactor thrones, tables, etc) rather than the objects themselves (tables, thrones, etc).

 

If I remember correctly the headless mask was introduced as a non reoccurring rare item yet it is back for 8 dollars.

Well, if they sell stations and cf vendors anyway I will give a +1 for selling them for cotos in a couple of weeks.

 

I must disagree with you about the availability of these items. I regularly see commission free vendors and tables being traded and sold.

Besides, I disagree with this line of logic anyway.
Port used these items as an incentive to get people to purchase pledges. The idea was these were "buy now or never" types of sales.
If Port uses "rare" items as a sales ploy, they should ensure that the items remain rare.
Next time there is an "exclusive" item, I wont have faith in Port that it will remain exclusive.

Can I ask what makes you expect that houses will remain exclusive ? The track record here doesn't support this claim.

 

Is there a pet bundle?

 

YES. Some of those houses were exclusive. They should stay that way.

 

I now fully expect them to be craftable in a couple weeks.

This is what they said about the CF vendors:

There is zero promise of exclusivity there.

 

This makes me feel a foolish for spending money on it.

What is special about my commission free vendor compared to those on the store ?

And,.... why price it so low. These were selling for more than triple what they are asking. If they were going to do this, at least make it worth it and closer to current market value.

 

I didn't notice any Pledge Exclusive items in the store. Can you please point out what I missed?

 

Then make use of the pledge exclusive skins for vendors you were gifted.
