Avatar’s Update #296: R57 Livestream Today, Commission Free Vendors & Expert Crafting Stations For S

The terms that Port uses are confusing. (Exclusive, special, rare , nonrecurring, etc.)
The impression they give about these items is as well.
Not saying they are intentionally misleading, but I find terms like these ambiguous, which makes them easily misunderstood and easy to deny or even change the intended meaning of.

I am not trying to appear superior to anyone.
I am just trying to keep Port honest and make sense of their sales tactics.

It was a blast and I hope I was able to come across with an "audience" perspective on camera. I'm not a developer -- just a player and friend who is blessed with being allowed to get involved wherever I can.








At the end of the Fishing Deep Dive, Starr made a point about the face-to-face interaction we players can have directly with the Developers -- sure it's really hard for many players to physically travel to meet them.

Yet if you can, consider such face-to-face interactions as priceless moments, perhaps once-in-a-lifetime for some. I felt that on my first LOTM VIP Tour at Portalarium in November 2014:

Waiting for them to say they did reskin the headless mask but because it is headless you can't see the new skin.

The fishing updates sound incredible!
Different water types, baits matter, lunar cycle impact, time of day effect, countless types of fish and crustaceans … and tied directly into the treasure map system. They are giving fishing some serious attention. Grats @Winfield and Port !

well Starr admitted in a post a while ago that their communication hasn't been good (https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/f...s-criticism-healthy-debate-the-future.135916/). Why inquiring and not being a **** about it was what I did. Always good to see others who understand, still funny how some on the forums haven't changed a bit though... and ppl wonder why more ppl prefer the Kickstarter Update emails than bothering with the forums.

 

I think LB's video robot didn't do the live stream any justice. The video feed of him was really hard to see. Seems like the glare was so bad that it looked like the sun was in his office. It was COOL to see the robot scoot away once he was done.
