Kind of upset we didn't get to say goodbye. Why no announcement?

Edit: I only stop in from time to time so I may have missed it. Always liked Dallas and thought he was a good person to manage the finances in order to make sure the game was on track.

9 years what a feat!! Has the game been worked on since 2009? I had no idea I thought it was 2013 when the Kickstarter began (according to my emails history)

They did stuff like this before SotA. I think there was online poker too but not sure.

They had a facebook Texas Hold'em game, I played a few times.
I think they had a facebook 21 Blackjack game.
    Then Ultimate Collector, I played.
    Then the Ultimate RPG.

I was wondering why we haven't seen Dallas on the live streams in a while.

Now you don't have to wonder anymore, at least.

If I'm not mistaken I believe they also developed a web browser plug-in tool for the free to play MMO, "Villagers & Heroes" which initially launched under the name "A Mystical Land" in 2011. Perhaps that game is where they developed some of their aversion to exclamation points and question marks over the heads of quest givers. I played it for a bit but it just wasn't that deep and I had too many other interests.

Edit: Looking forward a year the company changed the name from Portalarium Plugin to Mystical Land Installer and slightly changed the log-in technique to presumably make it easier for players.

If he has retired, I'm jealous. I sure wish I could retire. Now.

But to the point - @dallas I thought you were still behind the scenes! I wish you well whether you're retired or still making magic somewhere in the gaming industry <3

I will never forget working with you and a huge team of players to decorate the original Hometown!

THat was the Portlarium Player, the other Portalarium games were using it too and it was basically was Portalarium was built about : the original idea was to bring "true games" to Facebook and URPG was meant to be a FB games as well that would have worked with the Porlatirum Player within Facebook like A Mystical Land did. (Indeed RG once mentionned that one of his idea was that could have a "Moongate" in your Ultimate Collector backyard and use to get to New Britannia). A Mystical Land was basically a WoW Clone but it really showcased the potential of having proper games in FB. But then the FB bubble collapsed, and after considering mobile for a while, URPG went back to being a proper PC games thanks to the Kickstarter Craze.

As for Dallas being gone well taht comes as a shock. Certainly had a long history ever since the Origin days. :(

What a shame that for a second time (cough ultima 9) they scrapped the awesome top down isometric view.
