I got mine to enjoy the contents, if I was going to not play then I would sell the box.

I've validated my address for the 3rd time. Here's hoping it stays validated.

Yes, the shipping box, but NO, not THE box... I'm debating on if I should or not...Richard went to an awful amount of trouble to sign all the cloth maps, so I want to frame that, for sure... As a collector, I think it's more valuable if unopened, but if the contents aren't verified, then... I don't know, so I'm still debating...

I havent opened mine. I know what should be inside. But Shroud just isnt what it was supposed to be. I dont feel excitement. No intrigue. Just a black hole lol.

The box looks really good, though.

We need a place to X-ray the box. Reminds me of when I was a kid. The local shoe store had a big X-ray machine in the showroom. You would try on your shoes and slip your feet into a slot at the bottom of the machine. There was a TV screen on the top that would show you the X-ray in real time so you could see if your shoes fit. A real technological breakthrough in the 50's. I am not exaggerating the next: While mom was getting her shoes put on by the attendant, I was over at the X-ray machine and talked my little sister into sticking her head in the bottom. I could see her teeth, skull and everything moving on the screen. Mom laughed when she saw us and scolded me with nary a clue as to the danger. Per my OP, I was thinking we could go to the vet and see if they would X-ray the SOTA box.

I opened mine because I wanted my signed map (going to frame it here soon to go with my other Ultima maps in frames (UO and U6 in solo frames, U7 and SI in a large poster frame together)). I kinda wish I had splurged on a second box to keep unopened, but *shrug*.

Now the question is to frame the SotA map on its own or with my U3 map...

I haven't opened mine yet, but only because my address changed a lot in the last couple of years so I had it sent to my mother at the other end of the country. Next time I see her I'll open it; although...
If you mean lithium I might actually keep the box sealed, in plastic wrap, well away from any moisture :p
