The geforce experience program does not detect SOTA. Has anyone gotten it to work.?

I think Gforce experience only detects games that have a custom Gforce driver (Gforce creates drivers that optimize graphics card performance for the specific game.)
So, SOTA will remain undetected until Gforce releases a custom driver for SOTA.

This. And I'm pretty sure most of it is just a marketing thing, honestly. This would be something Portalarium would have to contact NVidia about. Ansel is amazing! I would LOVE this feature! 360 degree screenshots and all kinds of fun stuff.

Does this also mean that sota won't take advantage of sli for Nvidia. Only asking cause I am thinking of upgrading to 2 1080 hybrid cards.

I managed to get it working by creating a custom graphics profile for SOTA.

Are you desktop recording or only the game client?

Anyone looking to get their geforce experience to detect sota can make a custom profile using nvidia profile inspector, google it.
Can also help with running sota in sli, but their needs to be a ton more optimization.
I run sota in 4k with everything max with a custom profile for sli, and I am lucky to get over 20 fps running on a 1950x threadripper and 2 1080 cards in sli.

Performance for SOTA is not that improved with good graphics cards/setups. It is to a point, but you won't see any significant improvements over even a single GTX 1080. Going SLI won't do much for you because the frame rates are mostly bogged down by CPU and memory.

So IMO, performance is most improved with faster hard drives (ssd's) and plenty of RAM.

I think that you are better off just updating drivers manually, have less spam sent your way and just manage your settings directly in the game. It is a lot more controllable then.

I solved the problem for myself, GeForce experience working flawlessly. Just had to disable 8 cores in AMD Ryzen Master or set windows affinity to force shroud to run on 8 cores increasing performance in frames. But at best I see 30fps at 3840x2160 with shadows on low or none.
Thanks for the advice, it helped me pinpoint the fix now I can enjoy shroud.

This would be my experience. I have a Ryzen7 1800 and an ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080, 16GB of RAM and a Samsum EVO m.2 SSD

My FPS tends to be around 30 to 69, depending on what is directly in from of me at the moment. I'm pushing a 2k Monitor that can handle 1ms response with a 144mhz refresh that could be overclocked to 165, not that I'll be doing that though.
