    I haven't played the game in a while, and I have the same issue as you guys where I can only enter the offline mode which is not even the same character as the online one. I'm wondering, are this server outings a regular thing? Or is it simply a coincidence that I came in a time where the server went down just that one time?

    Simply a coincidence. I’ve been playing since release 45 and this has never happened before.

    I've been playing for 2 years and this is maybe the 2nd time the server has gone down unscheduled. First time was a faulty switch and Chris had it back up fairly quickly.

    Coincidence. Unexpected downtime is almost non existence. And the few times it was down, they responded to the community quickly. To have it down this long without comment is rare.

    What's absolutely troubling is that it's been a couple of hours with no acknowledgment from Portalarium. Are they a Mon-Fri company, perhaps?

    Regular as in about once a year. At least it's only been network problems. I don't think I've ever heard of the server side going down when it wasn't a network problem.
