    What's Travian, anyway?

    Since the servers are down, we should do the traditional thing by holding a diversion.

    How about this: What was the moment when you realized that you weren't a newbie anymore? In other words, when did you realize you were mid-level?

    For me, it was when I got low on producer exp for the first time. I started playing at launch, well before double ex, so I was used to juggling my skills to maintain my adventure exp, but when the alarms went off for more producer exp, I realized the times of plenty were over.

    For some reason, that made me feel more mid-level than soloing a troll, which occured well before.

    So how about you? When did the coconut konk you on the coconut?

    I’ll share a fun story while we are waiting. I’ve been absolutely terrified of doing that *%#! Free Sir Patrick quest, mainly because I found out that’s actually a VERY high level encounter. That was with a character I first created, but then deleted and made a new one.

    The other day I finally decided to try and finish the Courage main quest (which I actually did, just fine).

    Doing that arena battle now, I absolutely slaughtered everything in there in minutes. I actually laughed. :D

    Greetings all and @Serafina. Thanks for the note about the server problems and @Chris thanks for the info on what caused it. I Blame AT&T. Hardware never likes to be moved.

    I blame Santa Claws, since AT&T didn't move anywhere.

    But, it could have been the tooth fairy. I hear her route overlaps with Santa's.

    I wouldn't put it past the Easter Bunny either. Never trust a rabbit that lays eggs. I bet there are rabbit bites all over the power cord to the server.

    Then there are the squirrels, mermaids, or the cow that jumped over the moon....

    Might have even been a UFO trying to zap the cow as it was jumping and hit the server instead.

    The Configuration skill tree hasn't been added to the game yet, so that is not it...for sure. 200%.

    Look! Over there! A three headed monkey just stole your grog!

    What about the "Ghost in the Machine"? I think we call all blame Scarlett Johansson for that.
