Real, and in good condition, that coin is like $3K.

If real, it's been defaced with that GRAFF imprint... Might be worth having someone look at.

Without watching the video, the one in the shot that loads in your post is fake. Watching the video, 1799 Dollars do NOT have a reeded edge, and the details of the design are HORRIBLY off of the original. It is likely a Chinese fake. Real Bust Dollars (the name used for them) have an ornamental edge with the inscription: HUNDRED CENTS ONE DOLLAR OR UNIT

Yes, the one I had is a real one roughly Fine condition, but the GRAFF Counterstamp MIGHT not be an impediment to the value of the coin. It was flagged to be sent over to Tokens and Medals to be attributed. If the GRAFF stamp is recorded as a legitimate counterstamp in the references we use, it will be considered a token and graded which will retain the value of the piece.

I declare my mason jar to be worth one billion dollars. The materials it is made from are as old as the universe itself!

Cool... You're obviously MUCH more the numismatist than I am, @Dermott. Not that that's hard to do. :)
    Nice find.

Sometimes I see buildings or trees or other objects in the real world that remind me of Sota ... I should pay more attention to the road. But super cool find. I used to have a bunch of the steel pennies, but some ex must have absconded with them .. sad panda.

I work as a grader at one of the top two third party grading services in the US. Basically, collectors and dealers send their material in to us, we determine authenticity, attributions, and state of preservation (grade), put the piece in a sealed holder with the information and return it. We have other companies for paper money and comics (which also includes certain magazines and concert posters) and have just opened up a company for significant artifacts (such as the Neil Armstrong Estate).

Couple years ago, a friend of mine was digging in his flowerbed in Versailles, MO, and found a Sedalia Dollar!
That's about 100 grand right in the pocket.
