Yes they will even shoot at you threw the walls....

 

the shooting through walls has more to do with if they start to cast or start an ability then you move to get cover that shot will hit you. If you are behind though and they have not initiated the attack they will move to get a shot. Its not like most live action games where you can dive behind something at the last second and strafe out fire then back. sometimes you will get the cover benefit which reduces the dmg but you can still get hit. The same logic applies with multi shot and aoe if your fire and it hits a target in-front of you and there is one near it behind a wall it will get cover but still take some dmg.
