What is the point of preventing consumable use on the overworld?

    The buffs from consumables remain if I transition to the overworld, so what is the point of preventing their use on the overworld? What does this accomplish?

    maybe lag on overworld if more avatars do use skills or buffs because of their vfx -- maybe...

    I really can't see people using consumables on the overworld at such a rate that it becomes a performance issue. What I see is people eating a food before entering an adventure area or drinking a potion of wolf speed if they forgot to before exiting a zone.

    All I want is a 1 time use while on the overland map drink a potion of Wolf Speed. Every time I forget, I have to go through 2 loading screens just to drink one if I forget to drink one before heading off to the overland. :mad:
