    Hey everybody!

    Share your big-fish story!

    Post your biggest catches!
(and if you want, tell us where we can see your fish in-game).

GUIDE FOR POSTING IN THIS THREAD:

    1. Please post only unedited screenshots of either your mounted or unmounted fish, with the fish-information shown in the screenshot.
    2. Post only creatures that are caught while fishing.
    3. Include your avatar name and all of the trophy information. If possible, include the type of bait that you used to catch the fish.
    4. Feel free to post your personal best, even if it does not make the list of biggest catches. Share your triumphs!

Thanks @Mal Hari & @Lily Byrd for encouraging me to start this thread :)

It's not my biggest or most rare - but one of my favorites so far:

I finally broke through the "1.6 Amberjack Mackerel" level with a 1.9 Large Amberjack Mackerel caught last night!

(the Swordfish at the top is my biggest overall catch so far at 3.2)

You can see all these in my shop at Etceter (just down the street from the blacksmith) - I'll continue to put my biggest catch of each fish there!

We have a showroom for our biggest catches.
Its our fisher home in our PoT Dracheninsel. Its the Galleone at the main docks.
Under every fish trophy is a flyer with the history.
(Some fish trophies are placeholder, because we have not caught all so far.)

We also startet a Top 3 record list in our forum (german).

Here are my biggest rare fishes:

They were all caught with Minnows

    I just caught this megalodon!

Tiger Shark length = 4.3 (using minnow).
[All my fish trophies are displayed at my taxidermy shoppe in Jade Valley (row house) - use the town crier & set destination]

Would be cool if the description also said what it was caught on bait wise. As a rl fisherman meeself, these things are important and enhance the mythology of fishing.

    P. S Tiger Shark caught on minnow. Erm, hmmm. We need lures or scaling of baits with game fish. Shark should be at least a herring, or ideally also a mackerel or tuna as bait.

I agree, I don't think baits are working as they should yet. I never catch anything with the good baits, but minnows all the time.

I caught most of my trophy fish on regular Red Worms so far. A few on minnows, but I'm not seeing a major difference in chances personally.

Maybe we can ask for a clarification on baits during the livestream?

I Think rare baits just increase the chance to catch a fish and not influence the rarity of the fish caught.
