I think the paperdoll is assuming 100% direct lighting. But even in game the cloak never seems to look as beautiful as is does in the paperdoll and the darker is gets the worse the cloak looks. Please potalarium. Make me a beautiful man. Lets tweak dyes!

    Also emote hotbars please. <3

What color was that ? Sparkels?

As for colors, I know I have harped on this a lot and still want them to delivery colors for metals and even parts of stuff like this.

However take a long hard deep look at what they have actually accomplished. Blacks (pure and such are easy, so is Pure white. But take a look at a White Iron Set while the sun is either rising or setting. it actually takes on a reflective color from the environment. As a result I can see why adding colors to enamels could be difficult as they want to consider the environment. And yeah they look kool BUT. . . .

Ask the players, I am sure most would agree that we would accept a more static color if we were allowed to dye things, a lot more things.

Ty for the hard work to adjust to environments but sadly it is not really what we want.

There are a lot of moving parts, and a global update on something else, something bigger might fix it for example
Or it might be something to do with Unity itself, so on.

These are the sorts of "organic" errors and updates I've been bringing up.
This is how and why a lot of things get done though.. do one thing, something else pops up -

For now I would just rock a different cloak and keep a keen eye on the patch-notes.

Luckily it doesn't inhibit much core game play.

On the subject of a pass on dyes.. I'd like to see the dyed colors on banners and furniture be more in-line with gear.. I dyed a dark red banner and the color harder comes through at all.

Also - are you the only one who sees it like that? Or does everyone else see it like that also? Have others been able to die their cloaks (meretz or otherwise) with said aether dye without the error?

Any guild member wearing that looks terrible like that, my guild mates use it on their Obsidian Order Cloth armor and it is atrocious!
