Chat - allow clickable links only to shroudoftheavatar.com

In chat, we CAN post links to specific information on the official forums, but you cannot directly click on them, and open a browser, or even copy and paste that link. This usually happens many many times while daily in chat, when people have questions and we try to direct them to a specific forum or post.

If while in chat ONLY links to shroudoftheavatar.com could be directly clicked on (and open a browser), that would be helpful, while answering questions in chat.

Just mentioning this, as it just comes up daily in chat.

 

I fully agree for this feature. While implementing clickable links, please add the option to link items in chat also. This will help selling items a lot easier.

 

Perhaps the Company could green list some other links as well such as Discord server invitations.

 

Not saying I don't think this is needed because it really is... but in the meantime, get the word out that you can type /datafolder, open up the chat log, then copy/paste the link from there into your browser.

Not ideal, but better than trying to hand type out a link you see in chat.

 

/copy will put all the text currently visible in the chatbox directly on your clipboard

 

If only we had /help and /? to pull up a list of available commands. (Reminder)

there’s a JIRA somewhere for that when I suggested it a few years ago during a livestream telethon question and Lord British put one in.

I think any link should be clickable in the chat, though stuff linking outside of the shroud of the avatar site (or perhaps wiki) should add warning before opening the link in chat. Many people send links to their guild sites, images, videos.... it would be less hassle without going through /copy - text editor - copy link - paste link cycle.
