How will the change in crowns affect rent in game?

 

That will be nice as a motivator for players.

 

Not really feeling this. Basically the game has been changed to subscription based. Not only that but now we have to pay DOUBLE for rewards. So if you have multiple accounts it’s either pay more or get less. Sadly most will choose to “get less”. This will likely reduce revenue. Not to mention I’m sure tons of people never even messed with crowns I know I didn’t. In fact I don’t like them at all. It kinda hurts to see you guys do us like this after supporting for all these years. I’ll still pony up for my main account but not the others. This Will mean less money from me per month not more. I hope it works out for you guys maybe some players like getting less for more what do I know?

Can you also add them to the loot tables for lower level areas, too? I get my ass handed to me in anything over tier 3 scenes because I suck at combat and don't enjoy combat to begin with, but I would like to get an occasional crown treat while I mine and chop and kill the pests in my overland stag and dog encounters

I'm sure. Rent is also going to be cheaper for larger properties.

 

Yeah I never liked the "buy currency at a wonky rate" part, it always felt like the companies doing that were trying to fool me.

Which they said they were, the point is to divorce the currency from being thought of as dollars.

Since we can buy and sell with each other, it might be better to not make it super weird. It's already hard enough to figure out what the gold value of an item is that I just don't list a lot of rares and real estate.

Personally keeping the 1-1 point to penny rate always looks like a better value, then giving people above a certain threshold bonus for the big purchase on top of that. I find myself more interested in spending the money when systems like that are in place.

1 crown currently equals 6000g. Based on the x100 change, ~100 crowns will now be needed to equal 6000g

 

I take it back, what I said makes no sense in this context.

 

they're in all scenes already, just not at a high rate. i've gotten more than one in outskirts.

 

RNGesus loves you. I've never ever gotten one, playing for around 9 months.

 

How will the Coto's currently priced on vendors be dealt with, are they going to drop to players banks and be converted or will they be converted on the vendor and there will be a stack of 100 coto's at the same price listed?

 

Don't forget item repairs with COTOs - that will likely need to be adjusted also.
